Halloween is here, which is one of the most motivational themes that you can teach at school.
Read more about Halloween Social Skills Activities in my previous post. We surely live in the world of abundance. There are so many book resources and read-aloud activities out there to talk about this special theme.

Some of my favorite Halloween Read-Aloud Books are:
🔥The Little Old Lady Who Wasn’t Afraid of Anything
🔥There was an old lady who swallowed a bat!
However, I also thought these simple, patterned books would allow our learners to engage and learn the words better during the read-aloud activities. Here are some!

Halloween Pumpkins is a Level A book from Raz-Kids. It’s an easy and simple patterned book. The only part changing on each page is the number of words. Students can engage and learn about pumpkin counting activities.
What about carving the pumpkin experiences? Here is a great book to introduce those words in a simple book. Let’s read Holloween Pumpkins.
Lastly, Maria’s Holloween is a Level D book from Raz-Kids. This will bring step-by-step sequential ideas of what could happen during the Trick or Treating event. Simple and patterned books allow the students to stay engaged and listen to the story attentively.
Enjoys books about Halloween, pumpkins, and costumes! Happy Teaching! 🎃🎃
