Toilet training is a huge milestone.
However, I found many educators and clinicians struggle with support in this area. I have been in the same boat. After teaching for 17 years in the special education classroom and ABA home program settings, I found that a data-driven approach is a key to success.
Are you looking for resources to learn how to toilet train your child/student/ loved one with or without disability? This product is a data-analysis-driven potty training tool utilizing the principles of ABA.
These are great resources to read/follow to learn about how things have been done in the field in terms of toilet training.

✅ First, let’s start with getting a baseline. Where are we? ABLLS-R provides a list(sequence) of Toileting Skills for teachers/parents/educators to gauze the baseline.
Also, take data on when/where/and how often a child has bathroom accidents.
✅ By analyzing these data points, we may find a lot of information that leads us to better intervene and teach the toileting skills.
E.g., For how long can he/she hold without an accident? When does it happen more often? Right after meals?
