Teaching a Child with ACT matrix

Can we teach a child to mind his/her own business??

When I look at the title of this CEU course from NV Instruction. I wasn’t quite sure. By the way, NV instruction is one of my favorite CEU providers so far- Tina often utilizes an ACT matrix to approach many issues/topics around behavior analysis. She starts with a demonstration of using ACT matrix in general with anyone, by asking, “can I show you my point of view?” and moves onto the pro-social matrix which is based on the shared purpose (real topic).

It was a 50 minutes long event that ended with language models that we can adapt with our little ones.

TEACHER: You noticed that he/she is doing that……… (5 senses, curiosity)

TEACHER: We can’t know why they do this……..we notice these things, but we can keep doing what we are doing. (acceptance and psychological flexibility)
