If you are looking for autism classroom schedule examples, let me show you some. I am all about systemically scheduled and planned learning days for our students with autism. An autism classroom schedule will help with this. Like I need my calendar with some important reminders, my students love to follow their own schedule as well. What about my staff? Any grown-ups in my classroom rely on this daily and weekly schedule to perform their best.
Weekly Schedule
This is a weekly schedule for my class- Highlights are some special activities that my kids usually remember and get excited about. Who doesn’t love Speech groups??!!
This piece of information is posted by the board so that my staff and any visitors/parents can refer to-

Daily Schedule
Another type of schedule on the board will be…staff job assignment schedule. This will indicate what each staff will be doing during any given time frame.
I will be at the Big Table at noon during Whole Group Lessons. Got it!
Every day around 7:20am, I start my morning prep by putting up the daily schedule for students on the board. During groups or 1:1 work time, kids are constantly encouraged to refer to the master schedule to find the information. Like, what time do you eat lunch? what’s after opening the social group?…

Student Individual Schedule
And…most importantly, each student has his/her own schedule for the day. It looks like it is a Monday’s schedule..because there is PE after opening the binder..=) This schedule gives my students an idea of what their day looks like. It also helps organize their thoughts and structure the expectations of the day.

Providing individual daily or weekly schedules is one of the most important accommodations for your students with autism. Schedules will help them more independently navigate their school days and prevent undesired behavior challenges.
