Are you looking for a fun, engaging measurement activity worksheets for young students?
 
Observe Lizard grow in the water, Measure the length of growing lizard and make a graph and compare! You will be surprised how a dollar worth of classroom pet can bring such a joy.
 
MAGIC GROW CREATURE  WATCH IT GROW 600% IN WATER! 3 DIFFERENT CREATURES!
 
Directions:
1. Introduce a box of TOY Lizard, ask what kind of animal? (The store carries different types of creatures)
2. Read what it says on the box. What does GROW mean? Getting bigger? or Smaller?
3. Measure the lizard with a ruler. ______ inches tall. Put on a graph.
3. Fill up the clear jar/bin with water and place a lizard.
4. Check how much it grows each day and log on to the graph.
 
This is how it looks like 2 weeks later…Almost fit in the container now.
 
Having a Bar Graph with the height of the growing lizard is a fun part. Students think the lizard is the classroom pet. They want to take care of it by getting some new water. Great experiment!!
